Laura del Mar Cruz is originally from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She moved to Miami in 2021, where she obtained her Master of Professional Science in Marine Conservation at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Sciences. Her passion lies in understanding marine and terrestrial ecosystems and developing bilingual educational content. Laura previously served as Miami Waterkeeper’s Education and Outreach Manager, and now continues on as a Youth Education Consultant, providing ongoing support to our youth programs.
