‘It’s iron sharpening iron’: CNN Heroes join forces in Miami to take their work to the next level

CNN reported on the Top 10 CNN Heroes gathering in Miami Beach to sharpen their missions — and for their day of service, the honorees and Elevate Prize winners joined a project organized by Miami Waterkeeper on Virginia Key, clearing beach debris, removing invasive plants, and planting natives to help restore the island’s ecosystem.
